Case Study: Translation

The Challenge

Translation is a culture-driven creative agency that partners with brands, artists, and influencers. Their digital platforms often serve as a storytelling hub for campaigns, events, and brand experiences, requiring a blend of innovative design and engaging content. The challenge was to build a site that effectively showcases Translation’s dynamic portfolio—while remaining flexible enough to spotlight new initiatives, collaborations, and brand-building strategies.

My role as Product Manager

While managing budgets, timelines, and team dynamics as a producer, I also assumed product management responsibilities by:

• Gathering input from account directors, creative leads, and strategy teams to define essential features and content priorities

• Crafting a product roadmap that aligned Translation’s brand-forward vision with user-centric design, ensuring projects and case studies were presented in an impactful way

• Leveraging analytics and user feedback to guide iterative improvements, refining navigation, interactive features, and storytelling elements

Planning and execution

I structured the project into sprints focusing on the agency’s core digital assets—such as project case studies, agency culture highlights, and collaboration spotlights. Through frequent stakeholder reviews, we iterated on visual design, embedded multimedia showcases, and integrated social engagement mechanisms. This iterative process allowed us to respond quickly to emerging creative campaigns and ensure the site consistently reflected Translation’s cutting-edge identity.

Results

• Standout portfolio presentation: An elevated platform that spotlighted Translation’s dynamic work, from cross-cultural campaigns to influencer partnerships

• Improved agency storytelling: Clear, immersive narratives for each project helped potential clients understand Translation’s unique approach and creative output
